Tayo’s father is a diplomat, and for Tayo, this meant never hanging around too long in one place. With a feeling of being a minority no matter where he called home at the moment Tayo discovered early in his life that the way to connect with those not ‘like you’ is to ask sincere questions.

Tayo discusses the ‘Buzzfeed-ification’ of the media, and how the reality of being served up only that which we like or want to read keeps is isolated. The news is good, but too often is seeks to entertain first and inform second. We have to understand that and seek for that which truly informs.
